IHUK Referee Section are pleased to confirm their fifth and final Level One course for 2019/20 season, which will be held on Saturday 16th November in Kilmarnock.

The first course of the season took place in Nottingham last weekend saw just under 20 delegates put through their paces on what it takes to become an official.  The prospective new officials underwent classroom sessions on rules and officiating standards before taking to the main Nottingham Arena ice for skating tests and a scrimmage involving skaters from Nottingham IHC.

Level 1 course manager Tom Stephenson said: “The first course of the year was a success in Nottingham and we look forward to them completing their registration and joining #TeamStripes.

“We are also pleased to get our final course confirmed in Kilmarnock and hope to get a great turnout from prospective officials north of the border and building the officiating programme.

“The next course takes place in Bracknell on October 20 and places are still available for would-be officials to join us.”

Details of the course and how to book can be found on the IHUK Referee Section website.  For more information or any questions can be emailed to Tom Stephenson.
