Ice Hockey UK, in conjunction with Dumfries and Galloway Council and Dumfries Ice Bowl, have registered bids to host two junior World Championship tournaments in 2018.

Proposals have been put forward to the IIHF for Great Britain to host the Under-20 Division 2 Group A and the U18 Division 2 Group A in Dumfries.

A presentation was put forward to Congress in Cologne this morning by chairman Richard Grieveson and voting will take place tomorrow.
