The green light has been given for the return of adult ice hockey in Scotland following the easing of covid restrictions by the Scottish government.

Adult contact sport will be allowed indoors from Monday 19th July as Scotland begins Lockdown Level 0 from Monday.

The capacity allowed on the ice will be raised to 50, but each ice rink will still be required to follow coronavirus protocols.

Scottish Ice Hockey covid-19 officer, Jim Paterson, said: “We now urge everyone to work together to get out sport back up and running for the next scheduled season.”
