Smith: Great professional performance from the girls
GB Women head coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “It was a professional performance from the girls which was great to see.

“There were good performances across the ice and I liked the way we didn’t lose our concentration.

“The girls played a true 60-minute game but credit Mexico who never stopped battling.

“We now rest this evening ahead of another big game tomorrow. ”

GB return to action tomorrow when they face hosts Slovenia at 8pm (7pm UK time).
