UK official Tom Darnell will referee the gold-medal game today in the Under-18 World Championship tournament in Spain.
Darnell is officiating in the Division 2B tournament in Valdemoro.
Estonia and hosts Spain are both unbeaten in the competition, winning four out of four.
And the two sides go head-to-head in the last match this evening.
Darnell siad: “I am looking forward to officiating the gold-medal decider.
“It was a been a great tournament and some great battles on the ice.
“I have really enjoyed being here and representing the UK.”
IHUK referee in chief, Simon Kirkham, said: “Congratulations to Tom and I know he will do a great job.
“Our officials are always well thought of and we get excellent reports when they go to IIHF tournaments.”
