As part of the IIHF’s World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend, a very special event will be taking place at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham this Friday (22nd October) from 7pm until 9pm.
Last week, GB Women inspired the nation with their performances at the Olympic Qualifiers and now, who knows, the next generation of players could be unearthed.
Have you been inspired by what you saw last week? This is your opportunity to start the journey to follow in their footsteps.
Females of all ages are welcome. You will be given an opportunity to try and learn the basic skills of skating, stick handling, passing and shooting before putting them to the test in a mini game.
Equipment – helmets, gloves, skates and sticks – will be provided.
