Great Britain’s two matches with Hungary have been cancelled because of the worldwide situation with the coronavirus.

GB and Hungary were set to meet in Coventry on Tuesday 21st April and Nottingham on Wednesday 22nd April.

Ice Hockey UK general secretary, Andy French, said: “We’d like to apologise to all supporters who had bought tickets for these games, but I am sure everyone will understand why they are cancelled.

“The most important thing right now is everyone’s health and wellbeing – and that comes before anything.”

Supporters who have bought tickets for the games are entitled to a refund and further details can be found below.

GB v Hungary in Coventry
The refund process will begin as soon as possible. All customers will be contacted directly to confirm their refund has been processed. Please be patient as the arena has had a large number of event cancellations and refunds will be processed as quickly as possible.

GB v Hungary in Nottingham
The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham will contact all the ticket holders to confirm the cancellation and refund their ticket money. Please be patient as the arena has had a large number of event cancellations and refunds will be processed as quickly as possible.
