Great Britain Women have named a squad of 24 for this week’s two international matches in Slovakia.

The two sides go head-to-head on Friday 15th July and then a day later, on Saturday 16th July.

Both matches are taking place at the Zimný štadión Petržalka in Slovakia.

Slovakia are ranked 14th in the world, seven places above GB’s position of 21.

Head coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “We have a strong squad making the trip.

“There are some very experienced players, along with some great young talent.

“They will be a tough two matches but they will prepare us well for the upcoming Olympic qualification.

“The door is very much open though for the Olympic tournament for any of the players, whether they are making the trip or not.”

GB begin their Olympic qualification bid with a trip to Kazakhstan in November.
