Great Britain play their second game of their Women’s World Championship Division 2A tournament tonight, going up against hosts Spain in Jaca at 8pm (7pm UK).

Both sides won their opening games of the week, GB by 8-0 over Chinese Taipei while Spain needed penalty shots to edge Latvia 1-0.

The two sides last met in Dumfries in 2019, where GB won 4-1 with goals from Aimee Headland, Saffron Allen, Katie Marsden and Jodie Bloom. In that tournament Great Britain won the silver medal while Spain took bronze.

Today’s game will see captain Saffron Allen win her 50th cap for Great Britain; she made her debut 11 years ago in Caen, France against Denmark.
