Great Britain Under-16s head coach Mike Clancy has named his team for April’s tournament in Latvia.

The international competition consists of teams from Belarus, Finland Latvia, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine and runs from 17th to 19th April.

The GB youngsters met at Ice Sheffield last week for the final selection camp.

Head coach, Mike Clancy, said: “It was fantastic to see so much competition for places at the camp last week.

“The coaching staff had a tough job narrowing the team down to 22 but that is a great position for us to be in.

“There is some fantastic young talent in this GB programme and that bodes well for the future.

“This will be a brilliant experience for these youngsters and, as I have said before, it will prepare them going forward to hopefully represent GB at a World Championship in the future.”
