Great Britain Under-20s have confirmed their full captaincy team for the World Championship in Brasov which starts tomorrow.

Following the announcement of Liam Stenton as captain earlier this week, the GB coaching staff confirmed today that Aren Francis and Finley Howells have been named assistant captains.

In addition, Bradley Bowering will serve as vice-captain.

Assistant coach, Dayle Keen, said: “Liam is a player with extraordinary talent. He’s a very mature young man. He carries himself like no other young man I have come across. He has a very bright future and we are very lucky to have him leading this team.”

“Aren has great leadership qualities and great energy. He’s got a really good head on his shoulders, probably about four or five years ahead of his time.

“We love what Finley brings every day to the team. He’s very humble but a very smart hockey player – and very well liked throughout the room.

“And Bradley carries himself in such a professional manner and is a very intelligent hockey player.”

GB start their Division II Group A campaign tournament against Spain, before facing Lithuania, Korea, Romania and Italy in the six-team group with the winners being promoted to Division I Group B.
