Head Coach, Sean Easton, said: “We started a bit slow and looked hesitant and nervous but after their first shift each, we settled into the game.

“We have a deep team, four lines that can all be too lines in their own right. Each line created good offensive threats and was relentless on the forecheck.

“We are very happy with our first outing as a team and grew stronger as the game went on.

“Ben (Norton) played the full game and put in a strong performance and we will get a chance to look at Alex (Oldale) tomorrow.”

GB face K-Espoo Blues tomorrow at 16:00 UK time for their second and final warm-up game ahead of the World Championship in Tallinn, which gets under way on Sunday
