Great Britain Under-18s Head Coach Sean Easton has confirmed the players who will go forward to trial for this season’s World Championship squad.

Over 55 players attended identification camps in Sheffield in June and Dundee in July and the selection camp will take place in Ice Sheffield on 18th August.

The under-18s will travel to Tallinn in April next year to face hosts Estonia, along with Lithuania, Romania, Korea and Serbia in Division II Group A.

The six-team tournament takes place from 3rd to 9th April 2022 and will be the first time the under-18s have taken part in a World Championship since 2019 after the 2020 and 2021 editions were postponed because of the pandemic.

Easton said: “It was very a tough selection. The depth of players was very strong, but the team looks to have solid foundations for this year and next.

“The coaching staff are looking forward to working with this group of players and to continue our preparations for next year’s World Championship.”
