Blue Peter came to Nottingham’s National Ice Centre when Great Britain took on Poland in an international match as part of the World Championship preparations in April.
The filming by the CBBC children’s television show will be shown on Thursday.
The feature revolved around their two presenters Lindsey and Radzi being taught how to become netminders.
They attended the EIHA Jamboree during the day and were put through their paces by GB junior netminder coach Nathan Craze – and also had some advice from some of the youngsters.
They were then set a challenge by GB pair David Clarke and Ben O’Connor, which meant taking to the ice in the second interval of GB against Poland for a penalty shootout against some of the youngsters from the EIHA Jamboree.
Filming also took place at Altrincham Ice Dome.
