Great Britain’s attentions now turn to a second clash with Italy in six days as they play their final UK game ahead of the World Championship in Finland.
The two sides met in Milton Keynes on Thursday and the Italians won 3-1 with Ross Venus scoring for GB.
Italy have spent the past few days at their training camp in Coventry, while GB faced Denmark in two games over the weekend.
The GB team were given today off before reporting back to camp tomorrow ahead of the game against the Italians.
Both sides will then leave for the World Championship in Finland which gets under way at the weekend.
Great Britain will face hosts Finland, along with USA, Czech Republic, Sweden, Latvia, Norway and Austria in Group B in Tampere.
Italy will come up against defending champions Canada, as well as France, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Denmark and Kazakhstan in Group A in Helsinki.
