Ice Hockey UK are excited to announce that GB have teamed up with MOD Pizza for this weekend’s international game against Poland.

Fans going to the game at the National Ice Centre on Friday can show their ticket at MOD Pizza in the Market Square in Nottingham and will get a free drink – including a pint or small glass of wine – with any MOD-sized purchase (not in conjunction with any other offer).

Ice Hockey UK general secretary, Andy French, said: “It is fantastic that MOD Pizza are on-board and supporting Great Britain this weekend.

“We would like to thank them for their sponsorship and hope this will continue in the future.”

MOD Pizza is located at 31-32 Long Row W, Nottingham, NG1 2DR.

MOD Pizza first opened its doors in downtown Seattle in 2008. It was founded by Scott and Ally Svenson and inspired by their love of authentic Italian street pizza and the UK Mod movement of the 60s and 70s.

They wanted to create a place where busy families – like theirs – could go for a quick, delicious and affordable meal.

The original super-fast pizza was born and it took off like a rocket, touching down in Leeds with its first UK store in 2016, expanding to five UK restaurants by the end of the year.

Specialising in fully-customisable salads and thin crust, stone-baked pizza, MOD offers an unlimited choice of over 30 toppings, all at no extra cost at just £7.47.

Combine this with a broad selection of wines and beer on draught, as well as great shakes, sodas and sides and you’ve got a sure recipe for success.

Along with the success of the business came the emergence of MOD’s purpose beyond pizza… to become a force for positive change in the lives of its team members and the communities it serves and this what makes MOD truly unique – involving themselves as much as possible with the communities they serve.
