Great Britain face Poland at the National Ice Centre this evening (Saturday) in the first of two international matches this weekend.
The two sides go head-to-head at 7:30pm and will then meet again at 5:15pm at the Skydome Arena in Coventry.
The game is part of both sides’ preparations for this month’s World Championship tournaments.
Poland host Division 1A while GB are off to Zagreb for Division 1B next week.
A 28-man GB squad have had their first week of training in Coventry and it will be trimmed to 23 after the two Poland games to take to the World Championship.
Coach, Pete Russell, said: “We have had a good week of training.
“Everyone has worked hard and we are well prepared for Poland.
“These will be two real tests for us and Poland are improving year on year.
“It will be good for us to get some match situations and it is excellent preparation for Zagreb.
“All the boys are in good spirits and looking forward to the weekend.”
