Great Britain meet Sweden this afternoon in their fourth game at the World Championship in Latvia.

GB forward Matthew Myers is set to become the fourth player to reach 100 caps after Ashley Tait (110), David Longstaff (101) and captain Jonathan Phillips (101), who reached the special milestone in the game against Denmark earlier in the tournament.

GB go into the game in sixth place in Group A with four points from four matches, including Wednesday 4-3 victory over Belarus and Tuesday’s overtime defeat by Denmark.

Sweden, who are ranked fourth in the world, surprisingly sit bottom of the group with just one win – over Switzerland – to their name and have three points from four games.

They were leading 2-0 against the Czech Republic last night but conceded four third-period goals and were beaten 4-2 at the Olympic Sports Centre.
