Great Britain play their sixth game in Group A of the World Championship in Latvia today as they face Czech Republic, who are ranked seventh in the world.

GB go into the game on the back of yesterday’s 4-1 defeat by Sweden – a game that saw Liam Kirk score his fifth goal and become the tournament’s leading goalscorer.

Czech Republic were last in action on Thursday as they came from 2-0 down to beat Sweden 4-2 with four third-period goals.

GB sit seventh in Group A with four points from five matches, while Czech Republic are one place above with five points from four games.

Head-to-head
The two nations have met seven times previously with GB winning four times, but this will be first meeting since the country became Czech Republic.
