A dramatic last day is in store as Great Britain and Hungary go head-to-head in a winner-takes-all encounter in the final game at the Olympic Qualifiers at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham (6pm).

The winners will advance to final qualifying in August for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

GB thrashed Estonia 7-1 last night with Brett Perlini and Scott Conway scoring twice, while Hungary beat Romania 3-2 after overtime.

The two sides have met eight times since 2008 with Hungary having the advantage, winning five games to GB’s three.

However, their most recent World Championship meeting saw GB memorably book their place in the top flight of world ice hockey as they came from 2-0 down to win on penalty shots, with the famous Robert Farmer goal with 15 seconds remaining.
