It’s Pink The Rink Day in Nottingham as Great Britain and Denmark meet for the second time in less than 24 hours as they go head-to-head at the National Ice Centre.

Supporters are being encouraged to wear pink with pride and get behind the team for a spectacle of international ice hockey as SMP Europe continue to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer charities.

Recent Meeting
The two sides met in near sold-out Skydome last night with Denmark winning 2-0 in a thrilling encounter, thanks to goals from Peter Regin and Joachim Blichfeld.

Team News
Great Britain have a roster of 27 at their training camp after Joe Hazeldine and Ross Venus were added to the squad earlier in the week and both played in the 3-1 defeat by Italy, with Venus scoring GB’s goal.

Denmark have brought a 26-man roster to the UK, including NHL forward Nikolaj Ehlers who scored 55 points (28+27) in 62 games for Winnipeg Jets this season.

Around the Rink
There’s plenty of chances to win this evening with the 50-50 raffle for £1 and the shirt off the back of a GB player of your choice, again for £1 a ticket.

The Chuck a Puck takes place in the second intermission. Land your puck closest to Leo the Lion and you could win the one-off special jersey Leo is wearing tonight. There’s also GB memorabilia to win for the second, third and fourth prizes. Pucks are £1 each, three for £2 or eight for £5.

There’s also the special souvenir matchnight programme on sale at £3 with an in-depth look at everything Great Britain. There’s features on both of this week’s opponents Denmark and Italy, a review of last year’s World Championship in Latvia, an in-depth interview on Ben Bowns and reflection and photos from GB Women’s gold medal-winning World Championship campaign in Spain last month.

SMP Europe have provided thunder sticks and these are on sale this afternoon for £2 a set or three sets for £5. They are also available online by clicking here.

And there’s plenty of merchandise all around the arena. There’s something for everyone, so you won’t be disappointed.
