It’s the second of four pre-World Championship internationals in six days for Great Britain as they host Denmark at the Skydome in Coventry this evening (7pm).

GB, who have been together since Tuesday evening, were beaten 3-1 by Italy in Milton Keynes on Thursday.

Denmark arrived in the UK on Wednesday and have been based at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham, where the two sides will meet on Sunday afternoon (4pm).

Britain and Denmark will then depart next week for Finland for the World Championship, with Denmark based in Group A in Helsinki and GB in Group B in Tampere.

Recent Meeting
The two sides met at last year’s World Championship in Latvia with Denmark just edging a thrilling game 3-2 in overtime.

Ben O’Connor for GB ahead early in the first period, but goals from Julian Jakobsen and Nicklas Jensen turned the game around.

GB equalised through Mike Hammond with under four minutes remaining, before Jensen scored his second goal of the night on the powerplay with an overtime winner.

Team News
Great Britain have a roster of 27 at their training camp after Joe Hazeldine and Ross Venus were added to the squad earlier in the week and both played in the 3-1 defeat by Italy, with Venus scoring GB’s goal.

Denmark have brought a 26-man roster to the UK, including NHL forward Nikolaj Ehlers who scored 55 points (28+27) in 62 games for Winnipeg Jets this season.
