The first camps of the 2018-19 international season for Great Britain Under-18s and Great Britain Under-20s were held last week.

The one-day camps took place at the Bauer Arena at Ice Sheffield, with the U18s being held last Tuesday and the U20 camp the following day.

Ian Turner, who is manager for both teams, said: “They were two great camps and it was an excellent start to the season.

“We had 46 youngsters at the under-18s camp and they underwent two on-ice sessions.

“The following day there were 32 players at the under-20s camp and they had a morning gym session followed by two on-ice sessions.

“It was a very productive two days and one of the benefits was that it allowed us to see many of the players who are based abroad before they left the UK for the season.”

The next under-20 camp will take place in September, with an under-18 camp in October.
