Great Britain forward Robert Dowd returned from hospital yesterday to watch Great Britain’s 8-0 win over Lithuania in the World Championship (Division 1B) in Zagreb.

Dowd, who had scored two goals in his first two games, was taken to hospital on Tuesday as a precaution after suffering from abdominal pains.

But after being given the all-clear, Dowd was allowed to leave yesterday afternoon and sat in the stands as GB shutout Lithuania in the Dom Sportova Arena.
