Great Britain Under-18 Women have made a change to their roster for the upcoming Four Nations challenge in Iceland, with Katy Dadd replacing Mirren Foy who has had to pull out because of university commitments.

GB will compete against Poland, Spain and hosts Iceland from 11th until 13th November.

It will be the sixth time that the tournament has been held after it first took place in 2015 – with Iceland replacing Hungary from 2019 – although there was no competition last year because of the pandemic.

The team will undergo a training camp this weekend in Sheffield as part of their final preparations for next month’s tournament.

Head coach, James Ashton, said: “It’s disappointing to lose Mirren as she is a fantastic player, but we are excited to add Katy to the roster.

“The coaching staff are looking forward to fine-tuning our plans and then getting going for real next month.

“The tournament will be superb preparation for January’s World Championship.”
