Great Britain’s Scott Conway was the special guest on the Hockey From Across The Pond podcast this week.
The 27-year-old Belfast Giants forward was named in Pete Russell’s 25-player squad for Finland and is set to appear for GB at a World Championship for the first time.
His first GB appearances came at the Olympic Qualifiers in Nottingham in 2020 where he scored three points (2+1) in three matches.

GB begin their pre-World Championship training camp in Coventry next Tuesday and will play four international matches before heading to Finland.
After playing Italy in Milton Keynes on Thursday 5th May, GB will face Denmark in Coventry on Saturday 7th May and also in Nottingham on Sunday 8th May.
The final UK international game takes place against Italy in Coventry on Tuesday 10th May – the day before GB depart for Finland.
