This start of this season’s Champions Hockey League has been postponed until mid-November.

Cardiff Devils are set to be the UK’s representative in the competition, but currently there is no decision on when or if the Elite League season will get under way.

The CHL playing format will remain a knockout only competition that will commence at the Round of 32 stage.

The Champions Hockey League have said that “due to the uncertainty caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the related travel restrictions currently in place for movement between European countries, the board has decided to postpone the start of the season until mid-November”.
