The ice hockey community in the UK has the chance to learn more about the proposed new governing body on Saturday.

The EIHA board are holding an online Q&A this Saturday (28th November) at 2pm. The directors of the association will field questions regarding their forthcoming AGM and the votes on a new governing body for the UK, as well any business related to the Annual General Meeting.

Ice Hockey UK chairman Richard Grieveson and National Development Head Coach Tony Hand MBE have both stressed how important a new governing body is for the UK.

The full EIHA Annual General Meeting takes place on Saturday 12th December where voting will take place on whether to give the new governing body the green light.

A document has been produced explaining the proposal to establish a new single governing body for the sport across the whole of the UK.

The document goes through the resolutions and explains what is being proposed, explains what would be different if a new governing body was established in the immediate future, in the short and medium term, as well as setting out the frequently asked questions and providing answers.
