Cardiff Devils will face Swedish side Färjestad in the Champions Hockey League round of 32 after the draw was made on Wednesday.
Färjestad play in the Swedish top division, the SHL, and have previously entered the CHL four times, getting knocked out in the group stage once, reaching the round of 32 twice and the round of 16 once.
The opening games are scheduled to take place on 6th and 7th October 2020, with the return legs a week later.
