Christophe Boivin put Panthers ahead after only 49 seconds, before Ciaran Long scored a tournament-high fourth goal on a five-on-three powerplay (6:41).

Betteridge tipped in a blueline shot from Brendan Ellis at 25:40 (powerplay) and former GB junior Hook fired in his first goal of the competition 11 seconds into the third period (40:11).
