Click below to hear Sam Duggan in conversation with IHUK Radio after Great Britain’s 7-1 win over Croatia.

Duggan said: “It’s a big win for the boys and was just what we needed after the first game.

“Yesterday we didn’t take our chances and bounces maybe didn’t go our way.  Today we clicked a bit more and played a full sixty minutes to get a deserved three points.

“It’s important we practice well tomorrow and come to play on Thursday.  We don’t get too down after a loss or too high after a win – if we come to the next game thinking the job’s already done then we’ll walk into an orange wall against the Netherlands.

“We will take it a day at a time, have a good rest day, skate well in the morning then be ready to go on Thursday.”

Great Britain play Netherlands on Thursday at 1330 local time, 1130 UK time in the IIHF U18 Division 2 tournament at Brasov in Romania.
