Great Britain face Denmark this afternoon in their third game at the World Championship in Latvia (2:15pm UK time).
GB were beaten 7-1 by Russia – who are ranked second in the world – on Saturday before a narrow 2-1 defeat by Slovakia on Sunday.
Denmark opened their campaign with a 4-3 victory over Sweden before being shutout by Switzerland in a 1-0 defeat.
The game is a very special occasion as GB captain Jonathan Phillips is set to become only the third player – after Ashley Tait and David Longstaff – to reach 100 caps.
The two sides have met 17 times in history with Great Britain winning seven, Denmark winning seven and there have been three draws.
The most recent meeting came at the 2019 World Championship when Morten Poulsen scored a hat-trick for Denmark in a 9-0 victory.
