NEW LOCKDOWN IN SCOTLAND PUTS ICE HOCKEY OUT OF ACTION

From Boxing Day, the whole of mainland Scotland will be in the country’s toughest tier of restrictions for at least three weeks.

This means that all Scottish rinks will close and the SIH training camp, scheduled to take place in Dundee on 10th January, will now not be staged.

A statement on the SIH website said: “It is obviously frustrating for everyone to be in this position, but we will continue to follow government advice to protect the safety of our community.”
