PANTHERS GO TOP AFTER STUNNING VICTORY

Nottingham Panthers, the 32nd seed and lowest-ranked team in the Champions Hockey League, went top of Group F with a 4-2 victory over Swiss side SC Bern, the tournament’s fourth seed.

Panthers trailed 2-0 after the first period at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, but two goals from Alex Mokshantsev, a game-winner from Jeff Brown and an empty-netter from Robert Lachowicz saw Panthers to a stunning win.
