By Seth Bennett

Game two for Great Britain sees them take on Estonia at Dom Sportova on the second day of the IIHF World Championship in Zagreb.

Estonia were well beaten in their first game by Lithuania. Despite taking an early lead, Estonia couldn’t keep Lithuania at bay and went down to a 7-2 defeat.

Great Britain opened up with an impressive 4-1 victory over the hosts Croatia.

Sheffield Steelers forward Robert Dowd had a goal and two assists, while Belfast Giants forward Colin Shields scored his 35th international goal.

TEAM NEWS
Cardiff Devils defenceman Mark Richardson will win his 64th international cap, taking him 11th on the all-time list, level with Tony Hand.

Josh Batch had a hand problem suffered blocking a shot during the game against Croatia, but is expected to play.

Estonia head coach Jussi Tupamäki has a decision to make over his goaltending. In their opening defeat, he replaced Villem-Henrik Koitmaa with teenager Daniil Seppenen.

HISTORY
The last meeting between the two sides was in Eindhoven last year where GB skated to a 2-1 victory.

Manchester Storm defenceman David Phillips opened the scoring, only for Robert Rooba to equalise.

It was a tight game and Great Britain eventually took the points thanks to a goal from Nottingham Panthers forward Robert Farmer.

Fixtures between the nations have been few and far between. In 2011 GB won 7-0, in 2001 6-2, but were beaten 6-5 by the Estonians in 2000.
