GB U18 WOMEN LOSE TO AUSTRIA
GB Under-18 Women were beaten 4-1 by Austria in their second game at the World Championship (Division 1) in Norway.
Two goals either side of the first interval gave Austria a two-goal lead, before Saffron Allen (Sheffield Shadows) closed the gap at 34:06.
Austria restored their two-goal lead less than a minute later and scored once in the final period to secure the victory.
It was another brave fight by the GB Women, who can hold their heads up high, against the second seeds in the tournament.
